S/N it's crazy how Old Navy has a negative stigma attached it to where every hood shopping strip in NYC has one, even the one in Harlem stayed busy. The one in Downtown BK on Fulton Street stayed busy too.

As a kid, my family's rules was for birthdays we'd go out to dinner and then birthday kid gets to choose the next place to go.
I'd always choose a spot close to a ToysrUs for that birthday money spending.
My parents would take me n my sister, give me a limit n then let me go wild.
ToysRUs was literally kid heaven.
From the aisles with the bikes, to the ones with all the action figures, to the videogame section etc. Even had an aisle with Legos and another with home science projects n ish.
Kids today have no idea what they're missing out on.
Tiktok dances n pranks have zero advantage over brainstorming adventures with action figures with friends, or other ish.

Do stores even do midnight releases anymore?
I don't even know, last console I bought was a Switch years after it released. My old coworker got his PS5 at launch via preorder, delivered to his door. I don't even know if they can do big store launches like that because every new console that comes out seems to have some severe supply chain issues.
