You know, I talk a lot of shyt about the one, love my PS360 combo and can't wait to get a Ps4

But when I vape some hash oil, I start getting these crazy impulses to just get the xbox1, Dead Rising looks good, I want to play the plants vs zombies game and Titanfall, and I want to play (oh did I already say Titanfall? NM I'm blazed)

Anyway this video turned me off from the system because we'll... As this video shows, the kinnect is still fukking crap. Yeah I don't have to use it, but I have to pay for it because I can't get the system with out it

So Microsoft could suck my dikk, that's how you lose a customer (until they sell the system with out kinnect at $400)

Its a product they want developers to use in their games, but if it's broken as all hell what's the point? Why FORCE this on developers? If they can't see the set up of everyone's house (I for one have plenty of room but that's not the point)
Some people won't even plug theirs in, so all the developers can really do, so not to segregate the audience, is tack on stupid shyt that can't be game altering to the point that the person not using kinnect could be at a disadvantage

fukk that... It makes me mad, I look at the cover of my mass effect 3 game

"better with kinnect"
No Motherfukker, because I don't agree with that opinion, so stop this propaganda bullshyt, still trying to capitalize off the hype Nintendo had with Wii sports.

figures......not shocking though with early software.

Yup exactly. Voice commands are never really great at launch for most products I've seen implementing them. Hopefully M$ is able/dedicated to using feedback to upgrade it through patches and stuff. Using voice commands to do very basic stuff and controllers to navigate seems to be the most efficient way to utilize the Kinect so far.

Yea it really doesn't work that great yet. I was watching my cousin try it all the while the xbox either didn't respond to his commands or it did something unintended.

After seeing the IGN Uncut video, I think the voice commands work well enough for day 1 software. Most likely it will improve over time and become more fluid. I thought that the interface seemed a little clunky when it came to transitions, but thats just being nit picky. Still, I'd like to see it improve. I will say that I still don't really care for the whole TV integration. I feel like they did it just to say they had a feature as opposed to it being truly useful. I guess its nice to be able to watch a little TV as you wait in a lobby or something but I just can't see that being worth all the fuss. Maybe having Skype up while you are playing with friends in CoD or something. I guess if thats your thing, go for it.

I knew this would be the case, the technology just isn't there. And honestly, I don't want it, I'd rather just have a good controller and intuitive controls. I don't want to be talking to my TV at 1 in the morning while I'm gaming.

Then you ain't using it right. idk bout the Kinect yet, but having Windows 8 on the 50" with mini mics stashed around the man cave for voice commands is beautiful (no keyboard/mouse for the most part). Being in the car and simply telling Google now to navigate to the Pitt game saved me from potential accidents.....
