Jordan, Shaq and Kobe did win titles in their first 7 years tho.... the only superstar that didn't was LeBron

This is about Superstars in the NBA, not extremely outstanding players in the NBA.

I don't think he trash. You got to look at alot to determine if he trash among superstars ala Patrick Ewing.
First look at the team around him and his organization. You have to look at the era they're in the league and who is dominating when they came in. Magic & Bird came into the league during a transition period and they were quickly the best players in the league were as Lebron came in with the Lakers 3-peating and the Spurs winning it every other year.
I think you have to at least be getting to the Finals & Conference Finals like KD & Westbrook. Or Lebron in his 1st Cleveland run. Jordan was knocking on the door for years before the Bulls got thru Detroit. Shaq & Kobe went thru some heartache as well.
It's alot of things you have to consider tho.

Not trash. A superstar is a superstar regardless, but depending on the circumstances, he has to at least be in heavy contention for a few titles in his career before they can be mentioned with GOATs
