Bluray is the shyt, and im thankful the PS3 had it, but now that X1 does why would I want a PS4? (you don't have to answer that)

Well im not gonna give you a long list on things the xbox one can do that the 360 can't because it will just be dismissed/ignored, but it can track fingers that allows for KSR to have jet skiing. Also, it can be turned on by voice, it has the ability for better games graphically.

As far as what makes it next gen, well what makes any system next gen, its apart on the next wave of consoles, same reason we are going to have a new wave of kids soon that will be considered the next generation, they aren't going to be more capable than us, but they are simply the next generation. I realize consoles are different, but until we have a set standard on what next gen is and the jump required then this is all opinion, which nobody here is willing to listen to the others with an open mind, so all that's left is for those to argue over an opinion. Which is a waste of time

It just seems to be an Xbox360 with better graphics, DVD-drive finally replaced with a Blu-ray drive, & a higher-rez Kinect bundled-in.

All i see is MS prompting trivial-ass features.

Its more than better graphics. The extra horsepower allows for more complex games with better ai and more happening on screen.
