I always hated this whole investigation.

Its obvious dude is president for the simple fact most people in this country are racist, hateful and prejudice. Also that they hate women in general and are insecure. When people realize that, then we could move forward.

We're not "passed those times".

Technology has advanced thanks to brilliant scientists and engineers from all over the world (of all races), but we're not as socially sophisticated as we give ourselves credit for.

For every one of those few very bright, smart and socially aware people, there're like 100 more that are more or less "vulgar" and let their insecurity affect the world and follow those that have the same insecurity. Nancy Pelosi knew what was up when she brushed off impeachment proceeding talks a few weeks ago.

You can't be speaker of the house by being dumb and unawares. The fact of the matter is she realized, too late, that Dems hung their hats on this dumb investigation for TOO LONG going after Trump when they should've been focused on rebuilding and refining the Party for 2020.

Now after all this you have to face factions in your Party and factions built among your base, you have to face a weak line of Presidential candidates for 2020 and even if you gain seats in Congress that year, there's no telling if you're going to get another "against the grain" AOC type that could be a wildcard against the Party. Let's not even give mind to the fact that you've charged up the Republicans base and allowed them to wear the "victim" mask proudly.

The Democratic Party has self inflicted themselves with so many major L's over the past few years that they have to win the White House in 2020, it's all or nothing, or face a turbulent revolution within the Party.
