This dude Chambers didn't even come out to solicit votes. He did grandstanding stuff like burning the confederate flag (in Louisiana of all places), and putting out those tweets you put up. That's all he did.

He wasn't a serious candidate cause he never ran as a serious candidate. I don't know what else you want to hear.

i was wondering why all of a sudden people are bringing him up instead of the entire election cycle. this all feels like a gotcha moment and i guess it was

You can say that about alot of Blue States and Blue cities...Baltimore, Boston, New Orleans, DC...alot of black poverty there.

As a Louisianian I can tell you if you got all the black folk to vote BLUE...our economic situation wouldnt change cause them white folk gon come out enmasse to vote RED.

Also Louisiana is still debt from Huey Long's "Every Man King" shyt. Plus the factories shutting down in the state didnt help much either in Bogalousa and Shreveport to name some cities.

Speaking of Port City...they shut down beacoup schools....white and black but mostly black and they have had numerous BLACK MAYORS that were BLUE. I even met Keith Hightower as a kid via my stepmama...lawd she was sexy and thick.

Don't lump Baltimore/DC/Maryland into whatever is happening in Louisiana because black people actually do vote up here and we actually have black county execs running some of the most affluent black counties in the nation on top of having an actual black governor.

I'd say disillusionment with the whole political system in this country. Feeling like your vote didn't matter. Feeling like you were used and lied to. Being shamed and blamed for certain candidates winning, despite doing your part and voting against them. Being shamed and blamed for the number of black voters, despite being outnumbered by default.

Threads like this are probably a reminder of why they chose this path. A lot of finger pointing and talking down, but very little critical thinking. What happened in Louisiana sucks, but what does that have to do with a brother who never stepped foot in that state? He did his thing elsewhere and still catches strays. It shouldn't be a surprise that someone on the sidelines is seeing that and falling back.

Not speaking for myself by the way. Just a hunch.

Cacs don't feel any shame for who they vote for. Black people need to be more like them.

If you're talking about the freeze on the student loan forgiveness, you do realize that that the judge who blocked it was appointed by Trump right? Which ironically is the inevitable result of people NOT voting

they should have had the rollout for this ready and for borrowers to get relief immediately perhaps using the 1965 Higher Education Act. There were 3-4 weeks of precious time that gave these right wing billionaires time to find plaintiffs.

I voted for the guy. I just wish they had a better student loan forgiveness plan and wouldn't keep getting outsmarted. despite my concerns, this was my main reason for voting for him (besides the other obvious reason).

if I hadn't voted that way I wouldn't care about all this because I wouldn't be in the position of expecting tangibles (campaign promise) for my vote and, as a result, I wouldn't be as invested and quite frankly, frustrated. thus I'd have "peace of mind."

anyway, on the bright side, at least napoleon is still bushed. so things could be worse.
