I have NEVER said that people don't worship Kobe. I have NEVER said that Kobe doesn't have adoring fans. Where was that ever part of my argument? Why did you just spend all that time dragging up links from across the internet that have nothing to do with what I was talking about at all?


My argument was that the media worked just as hard or harder to promote Jordan and Kobe as they did with Lebron, even from the beginning of their career before they had done anything to deserve it. Your counterargument is that Jon Rahm.....a fat rich Spaniard who never even played basketball in school and was just 15 when Kobe won his final championship....must have got his image of Kobe completely organically and the media had nothing to do with it?

WTF did you think some random foreign golfer's fandom in 2023 would prove about how much the media helped to build Kobe's image?

Dude ran the East for a full decade. Dude went to the FINALs 9 out of 10 years in the ‘10’s. Which means if you had a playoff series against Bron and you were in the East, it was an automatic L.

If those teams and players didn’t “fear” him. They all folded to his teams. Outside of the Heats teams, dude carried trash with him every single year (no disrespect to Kyrie and Love).
