Kanye west built his career with help but doesn't want to acknowledge that help because he's committed to the myth of the self made man.
He's so committed that he wants to destroy what he's built on his own too. He doesn't need help and don't you dare try to prevent his vision. I want to see how far he can push it. I want to know if it's possible for a man to get as rich and famous as he did, and completely destroy every bridge and support he needed to get there and stay there. We've heard of rags to riches but I want to see if he can successfully pull off a riches to rags story where nobody. Absolutely NOBODY outside of someone working at a hospital or homeless shelter will talk to dude and he'll tell them "I was a billionaire, and world famous".

I think alot of these liberal white men feel like this,but just take it on the chin. I think Kanye is going to embolden many of them. This is a black man empowering them. Youve seen all those movies, where the sassy headstrong black woman(usually a nanny or maid) empowers white women to stand up for themselves.
Hes probably right in the sense you can do it more openly,unapolagetically,without much pushback. But its safe to say for any hate they get,they see plenty of praise and positive confirmation from themselves and other groups.
Black men currently get the most hate,and are left to self aggrandize ourselves. Probably would have been black women a decade ago.
But with all that said,give us all the hate,we can take it. We are even willing to take the straight white mans "burden" of hate. Thats how indifferent and righteously unnaffected we are at this time
I think he's flaming out and he's doing his best to maintain his cultural cache by any means necessary. Why would anyone wanna rally around someone who's constantly melting down and changes his tune depending on who he has in his ear? He's a contrarian. I wouldn't be surprised once he settles into his MAGA role and the outrage stops he turns around and becomes pro-black again.
If you actually listen to him speak he doesn't have any deeply considered, thought out positions. This is all a plea to get attention. I agree though, in the here and now this might open up pandoras box on some mild mannered white dudes to go harder right.
