I think Pac actually respected Nas, plus by labeling Nas the “ringleader” he was implicitly saying Biggie wasn’t on his level. Chess, not checkers. I know there are some people who hate on Hit ‘Em Up because of the Outlawz (which wasn’t even bad), but Pac said himself on the song that he was sending his little homies to ride on them because they (Biggie and them) wasn’t on his level.
