Man that Ole Miss team had been decimated by injuries by the time that game was played. Nowhere near the same team that beat Bama.

And on top of that That Ole Miss team had lost 3 games. and was playing a team that was barely left out of the four team playoffs. Lets get some perspective in here.

Matter of fact they had 9 starters injured for that game, If you include Laremy Tunsil who was carted off early in the game.

Texas never was some defensive juggernaut even whenm they were good. In fact, as bad as they are now the defense is better under Strong and Bedford (who was a DC at OK St).
