No, alot of payday loans don't even even report your credit if you don't pay, pay day loans are illegal in alot of states.

I watched some documentary about debt collectors and if they couldn't get in the house they would take the car away and sell it on auction and use that to pay off your debt.

They not gonna come get your car cause you can't pay a few hundred dollar loan off lol, they'd be losing by doing that lol, the worst that will happen is your credit score will go down, because some do report your credit, but like I said some don't even do that

so depending on how important that is to you i would just pay it off to get it out of the way
