I've always thought this was going to happen before Cuban said it. It's all an ebb and flow. I thought hockey would be next, but Bettman ain't the person to put them on that pedestal. It's looking like NBA season is about to come through again behind Silver's leadership.

Sooner or later, soccer will be the #1 sport in the US.

Sounds crazy but I didn't watch any soccer until 8 years ago when cable started broadcasting European leagues and I could finally watch the best players regularly.

Now I watch soccer second only to football. It really is only a matter of time until everyone catches on. And this over-saturation of all things NFL is gonna wear on the public sooner or later.

Be passive aggressive about a ring ceremony nobody actually cares about brehs.
Think that NFL opening night is about the ring ceremony and not about the fact that the country's most popular sport is finally back after a 7-8 month absence.
