Why go back to school and risk the chance of being possibly the 4th best player on Kentucky next year, when you can go #6 overall this year?
Lol at turning down millions being a bad decision. Now he wont have the 1st pick cloud over his head for the next few years, bought him some time to develop an offense b4 the haters rush in to label him.
Get his weight up a little and develop his offense. One more year would've helped. I can see why Davis and MKG left as they won a title and their stock was high as fukk. I can see why Irving left after not playing much due to injuries because of his skill set. Noel actually lost money by coming out. If he was afraid of getting hurt he could've taken out an insurance policy.
Most of the freshman that come out in this class wasn't ready. If Harrison Barnes had come out after his freshman year he would've been the player he is now. Players need to recognize when to hold and when to go all in.
:menlie: this is stupid he got picked in the top 6 who cares about being first 1-10 make pretty much the same amount of money its that max contract he has to wrry about attaining
@ you purely looking at it from a money stand point. You don't start making real money until your second contract. yeah he gonna
and be a "millionaire" just by being picked 6th but how much will he be worth when that contract is up? How he develops will be the difference between him getting a max extention or some mid level bullshyt. I think coming out now hurts his growth and thus hurts his long term paper.

he'll develop more in the nba playing top competition than in college b
He about to be the next Stromile Swift. Hell, Hasheem Thabeet got millions. Short term rookie contract vs. building a brand and having long term success. He doesn't come off as someone "hungry". I hope he makes it but getting drafted isn't enough. The ONLY justification is the threat of getting injured but at the end of the day if you're not ready, your're not ready. He wasn't ready.
He would be going back in coming off surgery, with hungry freshmen on his own squad. How was he supposed to raise his stock?his stock aint drop because of his injury. It dropped because he is a tweener. He's too small to bang inside and he has very little offensive moves. The ONLY asset he has thats worthy of top 5 is his shot blocking. He's not a player you build a franchise around at this point. Oden and his 50 year old body was worth the gamble, Noel wasn't. He could've potentially raised is stock or it could've dropped. Either he or the people around him wasn't confident it could be raised.
Was his stock not high being considered for the number 1 pick?
