Born and raised in Minneapolis, went to college and lived in Chitown. I've lived in Atlanta for a couple years, Seattle, and currently live in Cali.

Where I'm from and lived is irrelevant though, even if I was born and raised in ATL I'd think it was dumb. Why not "little Africa?" Are Africans not hardworking

Black people in America don't know much about Africans, especially Black people who live in lower income areas, but they do know about Mexicans and their reputation for being hard workers.

Look man, I think you are digging to deeply into me calling it dumb. I appreciate southern trap culture and what ATL has brought to hip hop essentially carrying the genre for the last 15 years, but if I think calling a project lil Mexico while rocking American flags as a bunch of black dudes is dumb, that's where it stops, it sure as hell isn't "smart"
