Nokia Lumia 1520 = greatest gadget / phone for years.

Seriously.
The wife has an iphone 5s.
We have an ipad mini, normal...
I had a long line of android phones...

Now admittedly the lumia is not hugely practical as a phone to put to your ear or in a pocket..

However as a gadget to have around it blows everything out of the water..

The battery literally lasts for 2 days even when using full time as a sat nav.
The experience is smoother than any other gadget including the ipad.
The offline maps / sat nav has everything, time to destination etc.. its like a souped up tom tom.
The windows versions of apps are better than the rest for the most part.
The camera ... well I know the other nokia has the 41mp. however this is still a cut above.
Did shoot out vs HTC one and iphone 5s.. its a clear winner, way more advanced at picking up colors and movement. You need to see to believe.
Finally its just very very cool to look at... it looks and feels expensive. it makes the ipad look like a cheap toy.


So there you go....

And the TS is right. This phone is easily the best phone out there right now. Its godly for use with games and movies. I'm still rocking my 1020, as I feel the 1520 is a bit big, but the more i see them around, the more i want one. I tried to price one unlocked from negri electronics and they wanted dman near 800! Had to fall back on that one. To use it on Tmobile, you almost have to cop from an overseas vendor, as the ATT version doesn't have wireless charging nor does it have Tmobile 3G, nor will ATT unlock their units unless your a loyal ATT customer.

But the phone itself is a beast. I was going to post info on it, but nikkas would just flag it anyways since i was the source, so i figured...

now, I got tmobile and they are lame as that thang for not getting this phone.

plus, no way to get one on tmobile domestically.
to get the full experience from tmobile as a carrier.

I might check this next year when I, in the. Market for a phone, I'm skeptical about joining the Windows/MS ecosystem but Nokia easily makes some of the best phones, I never had a problem with those I owned back in the day, they just have terrible market position in the US (partly their fault for not setting up subsidies back in the day for their high end phones)

you can not get he at&t version and use it on tmobile.
as, it has the pr'd at&t 4g inhibitor on the Lumia 1520.
so, if you take it to tmobile.
it only allows 2g speed.
it has been pr'd finally by at&t.
after they denied it.
next tat&t need it ownnup to bombing phones, when upgrades come out.
or you leave their service.
at&t bombed my iPhone and my lumia 900.
