A nikon d40 is 6 megapixels while this is 41 mega pixels. Your whole selling point for this phone is that is it has 41MP........but we all know MPs are meaningless. Are you actually impressed by those pics you posted?

You claim you know about photography but this post is exposing your ignorance. As a photographer, you know full well the traditional reference to absolute megapixel count doesn't mean shyt. Sensor quality and size is paramount when it comes to the overall picture quality. Its essentially a number used to impress ignorant tech geeks. However, in this case Nokia has created a technology that does a process known as oversampling. It takes a picture with the 41 megapixels, then uses the redundant megapixels data to create images that are sharper and free of noise via software processing. The pictures will also have a mechanical zoom that produces lossless sharpness. In the end it creates a high quality 41 megapixel image and a 5 megapixel image. Furthermore, with the OIS you'll increase the camera speed have very good low light performance. Overall you'll really have a very powerful camera in you hands. Its really a remarkable technology.

If you had this phone my friend, you would really be impressed by the quality of the photos this phone is capable of putting out. I know you're a talented photagrapher, so someone like yourself would REALLY appreciate the capabilities of this phone. Please don't follow the crowd of morons in this forum that like to troll my threads and obfuscate the truth i'm spitting.

Now of course no one is claiming this phone is designed to replace a DSLR (I personally have a Nikon D80 and a NEX-6), but the fact that this high quality camera will be on you at all times is truly a wonderful thing in my opinion.

Man fukk Android. If you want a well designed android there are plenty of options. If Nokia started making Android phones they would quickly become irrelevant. Stop making the same dumb comment in every Nokia phone thread.:pacspit:

Enjoy you plastic Samsung toy...:heh:

But Nokia is pretty much irrelevant because all theyre doing is making bullshyt WP8 phones fakkit.

How is that working out for Samsung..primarily making Android phones? :ohhh:
Pretty well wouldnt you say?

You say the same shyt in each and every thread.Your posts suck, your arguments suck, your knowledge sucks, your argument sucks. I dont know why you even bother to post with everybody sonning you on a day to day basis.

Go juggle dikks fakkit. That might be the only thing that youre good at.

Oh and enjoy the red bytch :pacspit:

Now back to the initial topic. Here is more news on the upcoming Nokia superphone.

The rumors are that the phone is going to be released in three different bodies: polycarbonate, aluminum, and plastic. Furthermore, there have been sightings of different colors of the phone, including red, yellow, and black. Here is a pic of of one of the polycarbonate shells:

In this picure, this is the EOS sitting opposite a Nokia Lumia 920:

Very svelte! Especially when comparing it to the upcoming Samsung Zoom:

:scusthov:

Also, here are the rumored specs for the phone:

Next up, we’ll just give you some bullet point specifications:
• 41 MP camera with Xenon flash
• Nokia Pro Camera
• 32 GB internal
• OLED Screen 768X1280
• WP8 V 8.0.10322.71
• FM radio
• Flip to silence
• Polycarbonate body
• Takes a 35 MP picture and a 5 MP picture at the same time one to save one to share
• Comes in yellow
• No SD card
• About 1 mm thinner than Lumia 920 with a big camera hump
• No visible OS changes

Im personally hoping it has a larger memory option, as I've filled up my 32 gig Nokia lumia 920 relatively quickly.

And before the Android stans bytch about Windows phone lacking "apps" I've realized that I would rather have a phone that does the core phone options well, then a phone that supposedly does "everything" but none of them well. This is probably the main reason why I feel Windows Phone OS is far superior to Android, despite it not having the app numbers its competitors have. And despite the general beliefs of many on this forum, I have a strong feeling that many consumers share my sentiment.

We'll see have everything plays out once this beast graces America's shores this summer :lawd:

It's too bad none of them share the desire to part with their money to demonstrate this supposed sentiment.

I'll be the first to own this phone. Day 1 pre-order for me. This is the phone all Nokia heads have been waiting on for the past few years.

July 11th will be a blessed day for all us Nokia stans....:blessed:

Only way you get it is if it's free on contract. :russ:

I bet your phone in service isn't even a Windows Phone. :steviej: Looks like your job has adapted better than you or Nokia. :blessed:

I know this is a cute factoid ignorant individuals like your self like to parrot, but the truth says otherwise friend:

Windows Phone jumps to third in global smartphone market share — and could be second faster than you think | VentureBeat

Windows Phone is now the third-leading mobile phone platform, more than tripling its market share year-over-year and more than doubling unit sales while pushing past a slumping BlackBerry.
And Windows Phone could jump into second place quicker than you think.

While they’re not Android or iOS-style numbers, Windows Phone sold 7 million units in the first quarter of 2013 for 3.2 percent market share, according to the latest IDC report. Meanwhile, BlackBerry sold 6.3 million units, down a third from the previous year, for 2.9 percent market share — less than half of its share just a year ago. Market leader Android took its customary massive 75 percent of the market, and Apple’s iPhone slipped from 23 percent global market share in 2012 to 17.3 percent share.

“Windows Phone claiming the third spot is a first and helps validate the direction taken by Microsoft and key partner Nokia,” the IDC’s Kevin Restivo said in a statement. “Given the relatively low volume generated, the Windows Phone camp will need to show further gains to solidify its status as an alterative to Android or iOS.”

Windows-phoneThose further gains are possible over the next year or two as Microsoft’s primary phone parter, Nokia, transitions to an all-smartphone lineup.

Part of Apple’s quarterly weakness was the company’s lack of any new hardware or significant new announcements. That made Apple slip to its lowest global smartphone market share in years, now less than a quarter of Android’s size, with only 37.4 million iPhones sold to Android’s 162.1 million. But systemically, Apple is falling out of the race for smartphone supremacy. And that puts Apple at risk of being in Microsoft’s sights for the number two position in the global smartphone market share battle.

How?

Nokia is going all in on Windows Phone — mostly by necessity — and now accounts for 79 percent of all Windows Phone sales. The Finnish company has sold over 20 million Windows Phones to date, which is not bad, considering the challenges of Android, iOS, and Microsoft’s stutter-stepping from Windows Phone 7 to Windows Phone 8.

But the real opportunity for both Microsoft and Nokia will come as Nokia continues its transition from feature phone sales over to Windows Phone. The company still sold something like 55 million feature phones in the first quarter of 2013, and while those cheap phones are going largely to developing nations, they will transition at some point to Windows Phone.

Those feature phones sales are decreasing, and the transition from cheap feature phone to somewhat more expensive Windows-based smartphones will decrease them still more, but they will be higher-value sales.

And, they might just be high enough, depending on what Apple does in the region of a cheaper iPhone, to catapult Microsoft to number two.
But keep repeating that "factoid" if it makes you feel better. :heh:

Are you saying this because you think I'm broke? :heh: Another fool it seems. You fail to forget that I am also a Nokia shareholder. Because of my wise decision to invest in the company I have been handsomely rewarded financially. I'll have enough to buy a dozen of these devices if I so choose, thanks to my excellent stock returns. But again, if somehow thinking i'm "broke" makes you feel better, believe what you like..

Meanwhile, I'll be stunting with my 41MP shooter come July. :win:

Be serious, breh. Beating Blackberry is like beating a retard in a debate. Call me when they actually start approaching even half of Android activations, hell even a quarter..... It's not a bad OS by any means. I like some of the things they're doing. But the world just doesn't seem to want it. I'm happy that you and pockets of scattered individuals enjoy your windows phones.

Im also in the group of people who would buy a Nokia phone if its got Android on it. I read a rumour somewhere that its been considered. If that's the case, Nokia's definitely got my money.

Nokia stock has dwarfed. You stay making bad investments. :shaq2:

I like how no other points were addressed either. :mjpls:

I'm sorry but I don't like to argue fools for an extensive length of time. They usually win with their vast experience. Its obvious your a dense individual who has no interest in this amazing phone, so please feel free to exit the thread and bless other threads with your vast intelligence and superior techonological know how..
