Above the fray.
How about a film on the Dahomey and oyo selling my ancestors to the white man

How much of your Goat-ganda/Pan Africanism persona is an act? This question sounds like what a high school kid would say, not a middle aged man who currently resides on the continent.

Many of the rebellions in the diaspora were lead by enslaved ex-soldiers who were prisoners of war and sold into slavery, INCLUDING members of the ethnic groups you mentioned.
The island that your family is from, and the one mine is from would likely have genetic presence from both groups. That complicates your slanted question, doesnt it?
You mean a film on the rulers and merchants of nation states who made those decisions, not entire ethnic groups .

I tried to watch some of these shows, not for me but good for them. I'd love to check out a bigger budget movie or something

Good

Because white media when i was growing up was only showing u the animals of Africa, how everyone was struggling and starving, cartoons with racist depiction of Africans or shows where white men was leading and teaching Africans

It’s good to actually see real or hear about real stories
