Do you ever feel embarrassed/ashamed by your ancestors cruelty or behavior?

Or for what your people have done to cultures in society?

To be fair it's clear that us blacks are ashamed of

Lazy black folks
Women wearing weaves
Black dead beats and other sorts.

But really how do you feel about your peoples behavior? I have never really heard too much opinion just excuses like ......oh well black people enslaved their own people too.

I'm not saying you have to feel anyway I'm just curious.

Well, my type of white people haven't commited the atrocities that other white groups have.

My fam is Italian/Irish and both of those have a strong immigrant culture and have never owned colonies or really been involved in the slave trade. Well, Mussolini tried to colonize Ethiopia but he failed miserably.

I mean, obviously there are tons of racist Italians and racist Irishmen, which is not cool, but at least we don't have a big record of genocide and enslaving others...

I am embarassed about white people's history in the US.
When I hear a white person pretend they aren't white because they are ashamed of their culture, that embarrasses me too.
