None of my lil cousins have kids. Age range from 18-25. All of my friends had kids before 25. Wtf is going on and should we be worried?

Honestly in my opinion, people shouldn’t have kids out of wedlock. Not on no, God is good type movement but on some you need to be intentional when bringing life into this world.
:manny:
Men spreading their seed indiscriminately and women allowing their eggs to be exposed is not the answer. Kids equals poverty in many cases in your 20’s. Why expose yourself to that life?
:picard:
Hopefully our community is finally realizing this. Your 20’s are the best ages to enjoy adulthood, fukk up, learn about life, and endure poverty all while everything being low risk under your parents guidance.
:blessed:
Anything else is…
:francis:
My youngest cousin just got married this year and Wife is pregnant at 32. My 35 year old cousin makes 100K+ and doesn’t have children. Another 36 year old cousin got married last year and had his first daughter this year.
:myman:
My Gen X cousins all had kids in their 20’s
:mjlol:
The best thing about having kids in your 20’s is you are done in your 40’s (generally speaking) and get to enjoy your 40’s and 50’s.
My youngest won’t hit 18 until I’m 55
:mjcry:
I’ve lived a full lifetime in my 20’s, stuck my dikk in the world, fell off twice, came back stronger, learned the game and came out with a Wife. Now my children get the best version of us while we are comfortable and came pouring into them.
:blessed:
Our parents were on survival mode. Only gave us food, clothing and shelter. We get to give our children a lot more.

Protect your seed Coli Brehs. Protect your womb from people like @skeetsinternal and @Womb Raider Coli Brehettes. Rearing children isn’t for the weak.
fukk what he talking about, let me raid det womb ladies :shaq:

People complain when people had kids they weren’t ready for and people complained people aren’t having kids they aren’t ready for.

The amount of kids people are having is less too

The only common denominator is cost of living.
You can’t have them big 5+ kids families anymore, that only works if the wife is crazy … I mean a stay at home wife with nothing but time on her hands. And the guy has to be stupid with no hobbies or friends …. I mean really love kids and is willing to do nothing but raise kids until he dies

It’s too expensive and imo a bit irresponsible

I’m a parent but I totally understand why people aren’t having kids. Depending on where you live, nursery/daycare can cost 2K a month and unless you have family that’s prepared to look after your young children before they’re old enough for school, you gotta find that money from somewhere.

Not to mention the cost of just getting prepared for kids. By the time you’ve bought a stroller, car seat, playpen, Moses basket, etc, you’re down a couple grand as well.

If you’re not stable and watching your bills every month, having children can be seen as a real hindrance if you’re not being fulfilled.

Against having kids if you aint got stability and/or the right mind for this shyt.

Most of my family/friends got their masters or had at least 5 yrs working in their career before they started having kids.

We werent like our parents where adulthood went hand in hand with parenthood.

We traveled. fukked up. Learned to get our shyt right. Then we had kids. So around late 20’s to mid 30’s

My concern is none of them want more than 1. And as close as we are, i think its better for all involved to give them at least one sibling.

Idk if you are being intentional with the tone sounding like a singular person and not a married home

Everybody talks like its a good thing but in the long run it'd not. GenZ is not even trying to date or be in relationships either.

What if its an agenda? Its like a slow bloodless pseudo self genocide.. This is why countries bring in immigrants as a temporary tax resource because local populations are not procreating.

Speaking of marriage. We are all engaged. But none of have really sealed the deal.

For many reasons but mostly the cost. The women dont want to go to city hall. They want that real shyt. And, like many have said, the finances of a wedding just aint in the books.
