Noreaga: Nas wasn't on CNN War Report cause he doesn't like Tragedy

Ehhh lets not take it too far, I dont think Tragedy is a legend. But he is a good MC. However lets be real, NORE is a terrible MC, and is KNOWN as a terrible MC, and beyond that NORE always made bad albums. His only good album is the first CNN joint, and honestly that album is a tragedy and marley marl album. The whole production, creative direction, lyrics, flow, etc that was ran through on that album was straight for Tragedy. Even in this interview NORE was like tragedy would tell him how to rap, what to rap about etc... On most of the Firm sh!t Nas was writing for NORE...

Comparing NORE to Tragedy, is like comparing Bizmarkie to Craig G... Trag is a good mc, NORE is some kinda entertainer but aint even classed as 'good' in the MC category.

regionally, they have claims to GOAT status. so even if you are saying regionally that Trag is a GOAT, then he is GOAT nevertheless and pioneered a rap style that was of influence. I accept that. which is more credit than you try to bestow upon him by saying he is merely average.

and thats cool if you dont. if he is not in your eyes does he just fall short? see, it depends on the angle you look at it. if you look at him being the youngest JC member, to his influential style and what he did with the CLASSIC War Report. his contributions to the game are legendary status. if there were no Trag, there would be no War Report....so lets begin there.

He just doesn't have much profile or name recognition, so lack of fans is more a product of people not knowing he even exist. You can say that's his fault, and you wouldn't be wrong. But he's still a dope rapper

I got a ton of my favorite rappers on my all time list who ain't really known like that. Queens has spawned more dope rappers than any other location in the world. I just never got the appeal of dude

just like there are good basketball players, boxers, actors, etc....that had the talent but never became really big due to whatever reason...this is the category that Trag falls into.

I was saying that as a reason why he wasn't dope, I was refuting Ruler 09 point that EVERYONE thinks Trag is dope and has a better delivery/ voice than Nore.
