Never say never.....

I'm not a military strategist, but I can think of one scenario that could temporarily disable US defenses. Destroying space satellites. Of course they won't be down forever, but that could give a small window to land an ICBM. That's why the CONFIRMED successful missile test(reported to US intelligence agencies by Japan)has everyone nervous.. North Korea is getting closer... not there, yet... but closer, nonetheless.

They wouldn't fire one. They'd fire a bunch of decoys with it. Miss defense tech ain't as advanced as you may think.

You really should read about the Korean war. It was basically China vs America. The north WASHED the south and would have easily won if U.N. (American) troops didn't jump in. We not ready for war with China in today's climate. People would freak out at 20,000 body bags coming home in 1 years.
