Aldon probably would have done worse had he his dikks and clips, and wasn't in a multitude of anger management classes. All that still wasn't enough to save Crapernick's car or Aldon from himself. Let her go, Aldon!

Aldon makes a statement:
"After he was released from jail following his third drunk driving arrest, 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith denied that he had been driving drunk.
Smith told KGO in San Francisco this morning that he’s sorry he got himself in trouble again but he wasn’t driving under the influence.
“The people who are faithful remain faithful,” Smith said. “Simple as this: Justice will be served, the truth will come out, there’s no DUI. I’m sorry for anybody I let down, I’m sorry for the way this whole thing . . . I need to speak and I want everybody to understand, this wasn’t a DUI, the situation I had could have been handled differently and I apologize for everybody I did let down and I apologize for how it all played out. But as far as everything is concerned, it will work out the way it’s supposed to work out. That’s all.”
The Santa Clara Police Department says Smith will face charges of hit and run and vandalism in addition to DUI. Smith declined to explain what happened. He’ll just say he wasn’t driving drunk."

Damn, this dude serioulsy needs to get help. There's gotta be something wrong with him with all the shyt he gets in to.
On the football side, the Niners' window closed awfully damn fast. They went from a bright 5-10 years, AT THE LEAST, to probably being in the running for a Top 5 pick, all in the span of about two years. Crazy.
Also, anyone else see the irony in, on the weekend that Charles Haley is going into the Hall of Fame, another RIDICULOUSLY talented Niner DE finds his career in jeopardy due to his own stupidity? For all the issues he (supposedly) had, Haley was able to dance his way around any serious issues, and play his way to Canton. Unfortunately Aldon Smith wasn't so lucky. All that talent, only to be a damn knucklehead.
