The thing to me is how the offense struggles to score every first half (outside of the Eagles game)

He slid the protection the wrong way. They stacked both sides and blitzed off the back side. Dude got there before he could step up. We might have to go max protect the whole game. They're gettin' through quick so these long developing plays ain't gonna cut it right now

Yep.

But short throws aren't WInston's strong point...its the intermediate throws. So yes I agree Max protect. But I'd still do it for throws that stretch the defense. Truth is there are no real YAC wrs on the Bucs anyway. So that hurts.
