This week made me come to the conclusion that this is what life is supposed to be brehs. I feel like absolute shyt going to my job every morning -- I cant imagine pushing through that feeling everyday for another 35 something years, only to retire lookin like

That's why I'm lookin to start my own shyt, man. I'd take a salary cut to 50k for the rest of my fukkin like if I was making it on my own.

i feel the same way..I'm blessed to be working, but I can't see myself working like this for 20+years...I'm always working on my side dreams, so I can be my own boss, make tons of $$, and travel as much as I want too.

welcome to the club breh. i recently came to the same conclusion. humans have been conditioned to believe that slaving away at a job 40-60hrs per week is the norm. we've made it to where LIFE=WORK. we've placed money, materialism and status on such a pedistal that the thought of actually stopping for a minute and enjoying life has become a foreign concept

Agreed. You know it's bad when you try to show others the light and they hit you wit that I mean if you think about it, being without a job and doing your own thing makes perfect sense. Look at how we receive our income brehs. For starters, our paychecks get heavily taxed and it's nothing we can do about it. "Here owners and investors! I'm feelin generous -- take out a chunk of my income for uh about another 30 years of my life. " Psh, I cant even look at my actual check amount anymore -- that shyt angers me.

Also, just knowing that some ole old ass dr wily lookin crakka is able to shut off my income by saying two words is terrifying to me.

Finally, trading our time for money is probably the dumbest thing that's been ingrained in us. What we don't feel like working for a week? What if I want to go to Europe with no vaca days left? Guess what? We dont get paid. In my eyes, that shyt is.. fukkin ridiculous.

Passive income is the way to go. I want to get paid 24/7. I want to be gettin yams while money is flowing into my checking account.

I'm going to make it happen.

This is how I feel right now, I'm in college living at home and I don't have a job. Don't get me wrong it's a blessing that I don't have to work right now but I still wanna be "my own man".

I really don't even feel like I'm "my own man" right now because of that, I hate feeling like a charity case. That's why I'm really looking hard for a job right now.

you should do you, and feel however the fukk you want about it. i'm going back to school in august, had a decent job doing some shyt i didnt mind but i didn't wanna get up every day during the summer, completely missing out on everything. maybe i sucked it up for a while but what's the point of life if you spend every single hour of daylight worrying about something you dont wanna worry about.

so i saved up a bit, i quit, and i'm just sports betting for some extra $$ and im doing just fine... and do i feel like 'less of a person' cause i'm not a damn worker zombie every day.. fukk no.
