and if i wanna go anywhere thats what grandparents or god parents are for

See people say this, but they don't realize that your OWN kids are not going to be around all the time when you're 60+ either.

My middle bro is a social worker at a retirement community. He originally thought that people would come to visit their moms/dads every single day.

Not true. He said VERY few of his resident's kids come around all the time.

He's shocked sometimes to find out that people even HAVE kids because they've been there for like a year and he has never seen them. Then he finds out that they have 5 and they live in the same town and never come.

There are people with no kids who get more visits than folks with kids (church members, nieces, etc.)

So it's not always true that your kids are going to be there for you 100%.

A year ago I woulda been all up in this thread with ya'll appreciating have no kids. I'll be even more honest I was alil saddened when my girl told me she was preggers, turns out to be the biggest blessing I've had (I'm not religious, just a figure of speech). I know kids ruin some people life...but those are just people who make excuses for the life they wish they was living, on some I'd be if it wasn't for these kids!

So glad I ain't got no kids. I want two (tops) when I get older, but I just can't afford them right now. Some ppl fail to realize that kids are expensive as fukk, a huge investment. Plus I'm not ready either. I enjoy my freedom, alone time, and not havin' to be responsible for someone else's life

One of my manz got his chick knocked up when he was like 22 and got married on the strength. Had another one by her, then they ended up gettin' divorced. Now he's payin' child support

In all honesty, there is no greater feeling in life than seeing my children smile. I have a 4 year old girl and a 2 year old boy and I swear seeing them happy >>>>>>>>> everything else in life.

I feel sorry for you selfish people who don't want to give of yourselves. You will have no lineage, no one to look up to you, and you'll probably die alone. Too bad your parents didn't feel the same way, then the rest of us wouldn't have to share the Earth with such selfish individuals.
