Care to explain why? I'm a 4 years away from 30 and don't plan on having children.

you and I are about the same age, I don't want kids anytime soon, but 10 years from now you still don't want a kid?


you think in your mid 30s, 40s... you can still hit up bars and clubs picking up women and shyt?

I think that's the main reason why a lot of us in this thread don't want kids anytime soon. I know I don't.

I can respect that. Again not everyone is built to have kids and I spent most of my 20's thinking I was 1 of those people...until I had my daughter.

Look like I said everyone is entitled to their opinions, if its not right for u...I get it. However the people in this thread acting like a kid is an automatic L are wrong. If ur at the right point in your life a child is something that can actually enhance your life (believe it or not).

Have you ever considered that society's view of how life should be lived is just one of the many options available?
The older I get...the more experiences I have, I think the less appealing (having my own) children look to me...

not about society, it's about being human, it's in every man or woman's instinct to want to have children

My godkids (3), niece and nephew mean the world to me, but the best thing about them right now is being able to give them back to their parents.


I would love to have children someday, but as long as there is no husband, there will be no kids.

is thinking small. Hopefully if you're 40 and you're childless, you've done some world exploration that has you doing other things than trolling the clubs for 20 YOs.

^^Just because you don't have kids you assume the person will be single and lonely? (BTW there are plenty of places to hang you for people in there 30's and 40's. You seem to be thinking from only a limited perspective on how you life should be lived. The older I get the more I realize there is no universal meaning to anything. Life is random.)

And what about couples who just choose not to have kids. I know a few and they are VERY happy.

I've never heard of it, but I agree with the premise of it. It makes no sense to make a life-long commitment to a man that refuses to marry you.

almost all my friends got at least 1 kid, and they all in they mid 20s or younger

they all always say the same thing to me bout kids: "be glad you aint got none" and "dont have no kids my nikka"

i watch all my nikkas go thru so much shyt with they children that i really am thankful i aint gotta deal with no responsibility like that

but sometimes i wouldnt mind having a lil char jr
