side note- i don't agree w this whole overly negative stigma attached to having a mortgage, especially if you locked in a rate in the last few years at all time lows. as long as you aren't extremely over leveraged and paying some exorbitant rate on a house that lost half its equity, financing an appreciable asset like a house gives you leverage to do a lot of other things w your money. not everybody got crushed by 07/08 :manny:

Why don't you pay them off?
honestly breh, in this economy i cant just part with 16 thousand dollar chunk of change like that. i only make 33 a year (that the govt knows about :mjpls:)

i pay 1100 a month so theyll be gone in a lil over a year. an i might lose about a g in interest over the long term, but i value the security more :yeshrug:

I feel you, I just think a little differently. I'd rather be down 16k and putting $1100+ to an account paying me interest vs an account costing me interest. With your side hustles and 33k year job you'll have that in less than a year.

Appreciates.

Thanks mom and dad for paying my way through college so I wouldn't have to take out endless student loans.

If it weren't for you, I would of probably never gone through with it and would of been flipping burgers at Burger King still.
