The problem is not 4K, the problem is YOU. You are looking at 4K and using old and outdated mediums to access your content...I know you did not seriously counter with Blu-Ray and TV Boxsets as to why you can't get 4K content...

Well technically you can buy 4K Digital movies in 2015. Off the Top of my head, If you have a 4K Samsung Smart TV, you can buy movies in 4K from the M-GO app. Sony sells expensive-ass 4K streaming media players that you can buy movies in 4K from PlayStation Video and/or Sony Pictures store

Nothing really. The best bet is a 980ti, but it's still pretty expensive ($650+). But you'll have to lower settings at 4k to play at acceptable frame rates. You really need 2 of them for 4k on these newer games, and that still won't get you 60fps on everything with ultra settings. I have 2 Titan Xs (thousand dollar gpu each) and I can do 4k on everything if I don't care about fps. I don't know if I could do that with just one card at ultra settings. Maybe at medium/high. But when you're paying $650 or $1k for a card (and double that of you put it in sli) do you really want to play at medium settings?
1440p is where it is at right now. 1 980ti could give you what you want if you stay at that resolution.
