I start every gym session with 30 minutes cardio. I don't go hardcore obviously but I don't just walk on the treadmill either. I do low/high intensity mix. Anyways by the end of it I'm sweating like a pig

During my workouts though I barely sweat. I don't do too heavy lifting, just heavy enough to feel the burn by the end of my set.

should I increase the weights? Thing is if I do too heavy, I can't complete my sets

Some people don't really sweat while weightlifting, especially considering cardio is one straight interval while weightlifting is start and stop.
Also, how's the air conditioning in your gym? If it's always in full blast, your body will be cooled down in between sets.
Don't worry about forcing yourself to lift heavy. It's supposed to be a challenge, not impossible. Your gains will be there as long as your finishing everything to the best of your ability.

If you aren't doing super sets or doing less than 30 seconds in between sets it's not going to be likely to be cardio.

every body is different...some sweat some dont...im not a big sweater... i would say heavy/deep breathing after a set is more indicative of how hard you worked...

If I get to the gym and immediately start lifting, I dont sweat. Lifting alone doesnt really make ur heart rate go up

But If I do even just 10 mins of cardio on the elliptical, THEN hit the weights, I get a good sweat going for the remainder of my workout.

And especially if you do core workouts. I can sweat from those alone.
