IMO, this is a smart move, his music career is pretty much over so there doesn't seem to be much point keeping his rap name. If he is hoping to take his career in a new direction I say more power to him.

Going to be tough for him. He'll have either limited or minor roles. Honestly, the tattoo's are going to hurt him. While that shyt is the trend now and people are more accepting of them, in reality, shyt hasn't changed that much. There are already limited roles for blacks in Hollywood, having tattoos will only hurt him more....
Terrance J was smart to keep his image clean cut. Also you don't notice too many black actors with full arm tattoos.
You can run down the list of "go to" black actors now... How many of them are full of tats... Kevin Hart, Michael B Jordan, etc..
