Not trolling...but...How do ya'll listen to J Cole after this Lupe album?

Its NOT better than any single song on Lupe's album.

Hell, here is my point.

Lupe literally has SEVERAL meanings to every one of his songs.

You can read the lyrics and get into them superficially...OR you can go back and read the interpretations and literally leave with a completely different meaning.

And EVERY song is like that.

Not to mention the production is like 100x better on EVERY song.

And not just the production and its eloquence, but the QUALITY of each song is unmatched. I'm talking in clarity, timbre, voice, loudness, mix...all that. All of those knobs on the control dash were tuned by fukking (insert god you believe in) him/her/itself.

ANNNNNNNNND...this song isn't as good as anything on Lupe's album because Cole is just rapping to fill space on the beat. He's not going anywhere and is hoping the instrumental carries him throughout the song's end. There is no building. Its just bars.

Lupe is out here transposing poetry in one of the most beautiful ways I never thought i'd see him do since 2007.

That Cole album was overall trash but he gotta gem on there in "Love Yours". Nvkkas gave 'Forest Hills' the crown. So many bad trax on there. But That Lupe tho.....Its Just plain brilliant minus like 3 joints. The Best Rap Album since GKMC. Hands Down.

I'm not mad, its just a trend in rap that's happening. Everything has to be simple like a SFTB, 0 To 100, Lifestyle, or some DJ Mustard produced track, and if its not then its "too complicated". If you're a fan of rap and can't pick up SOME double entendre's on the first listen then you might be the problem. Same nikkas who don't even listen to lyrics anymore, can't even understand what Young Thug is saying, but "The Beat Is Hot ". If you can't nod your head to it than its not hot because you actually have to listen to the lyrics.

The lyrics are getting stupider (yes I said STUPIDER ) and stupider, and the consumers are getting stupider and stupider, to the point that anything that isn't instantly digested, or anything that you have to actually think about to understand is labeled "boring" "too complicated" "need rap genius to figure it out" "conscious" "too deep"
