All of this is 100% true but of course it all depends on the person and their individual circumstances. In my case, my wife and I have to work, so I have a choice. Pay $800 - $1000 a month to a day care where I have to drop off the most precious thing in my life to someone I don't know or trust, or make an arrangement with a family member. I find time to do everything I want and still tend to my responsibilities. It just takes way more planning than it used to but its definitely all worth it.i hear ppl say this all the time and i believe it, but i feel like the timing has to be right. some of my friends are having kids and they don't do nothing but work, go home, help cook/clean, watch the kids, sleep and repeat. a routine like that would drive me crazy. plus they can't even go out or travel because of the additional cost or having to find someone to babysit. it kinda sucks because i can't go out and kick it with my boys like old times since their girl is usually around as well, but my social circle ended up growing so i still get to do my thing.
one thing that bothers me is parents dropping their kids off on their parents. i have a friend who's mom is basically raising her daughter. like how are you gonna have a kid but dump them on your parents to raise, after they just raised your dumb ass. this may sound fukked up, but some ppl shouldn't have kids.

I've always been very goal driven, but nothing has ever given me this level of drive before like waking up and looking at my son asleep in his crib. Something about bringing life into this world makes a man feel unstoppable. [/QUOTE ]
