Respect to Rangers fam, but this was about as anticlimactic a WS as I can remember. G1 saved it from being forgettable altogether.
Once they curbstomped the O's I had a feeling they were gonna go the distance. NTM it's hard to bet against Bochtober (Octobochy?).

Congrats Rangers brehs, but kind of surprised this is their first World Series win.

That fat panda kicked our ass that year. I still think our best team in that era was when we lost to Bos in the ACLS. Wild we were battling with the rangers in that era and here they are back and capturing glory.

From 2010 to 2017, the SF Giants made the playoffs and won the WS in even years and missed the playoffs in odd years. Strange occurrence

2011, 2013, 2015, they missed the Playoffs
2016 the sf giants made the playoffs, they won the wild card game against the NY Mets but lost in the National league division series to the eventual champions Chicago Cubs.
2017 missed playoffs and didn’t make playoffs until 2021.
