Ginkel getting stretched 2 innings might be risky. Getting through the 8th gonna be tough.

It’s just playoff baseball in October. Random things and events happen all the time in a short period of time . The early 2010s tigers, the 2015 Blue Jays, plenty of great teams with high end talent all over in their lineup lost while lesser teams found a way to win and advance in October. It’s not like the nba where the logic is respected and the great talented teams win championships as expected. In baseball you get hot at the rough time and you win the WS. Momentum based sport. In basketball talented teams will always find ways to win regardless.

That's the beauty of the game. The best team doesn't always win in October.

to those who’ve been following the Diamondbacks, was this expected this season?
Nobody expected this.

They started off real hot and were in first in the NL West early in the season. But they had that awful July where they went like 7-16 and a bad August. Looked like they were done but squeaked in.

preciate the intel. Not gon front like I know the roster, but I see y’all tryna turn 2023 into 2001.

The Rangers squad is tuff though, regardless of who wins this game rn.

Those weren't like this. What's going on with AZ is extreme.

If Gallen was throwing like Bumgarner, it'd make a modicum of sense but he's been buns. This is beyond random. It's unprecedented in recent times.
