lost in all of this is how far nicki minaj fell off... :wow:
Change on your fanbase brehs. :laff:

That whole roman black gaga shyt was a huge let down. The Grammy performance was kill.shot. She fukked up and deserves it for getting so big headed so fast. In hindsight she must feel dumb for going @ Lil Kim who was hotter longer.

Nicki just had the most successful year of her career, by far...clocking $30mil...mainly off of widening her appeal and getting mainstream money...the game is more than record sales homies...her brand is stronger than ever, hate it or love it

Nicki Minaj, who clocks in at no. 4 with an estimated $29 million, is the only woman on the list, earning more than Snoop Lion, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar combined.

Her popularity and marketability is tied in with her music. She will still get those opportunities she is visible to the corporate world but once people stop caring about the music and investors realize they fall back.

I feel you...there just seems to be some idea that her music isn't still wildly popular (well the last album anyway)...like it wasn't certified platinum and have huge hits on it...she made a decision to try and enter that Rihanna pop star lane and made out like a fukking bandit...it's just funny to see people act like the smartest decision she's ever made from business standpoint was a mistake :heh: ...like instead she should have "stayed true" or whatever to that ever faithful hardcore female rap fanbase (:russ:) so she can be Foxy Brown running out salons stealing wigs or Lil Kim in a couple of years the moment people stop fukking with her...she's gonna one day fall off regardless, she's just gonna be filthy fukking rich when it happens doing it her way

What I don’t understand is….if he thinks he’s going to capitalize off the release of the album as far as the tour goes (e.g., once the album drops, ticket sales will pick up), then why didn’t he just WAIT to announce the tour after the album dropped? It’s almost like he overestimated how much interest would be generated for the tour. Like, “Well, the tour wasn’t selling so well so I’mma push it back until AFTER the album drops”, like that’s going to help increase interest and/or exposure for the tour.

I dunno if it will or won’t either way….I’m just sayin’, why not just WAIT and schedule the tour after the album dropped and did some numbers first?

Either that's completely backwards thinking, or he/his team were feelin' themselves too much and were forced to reevaluate....likely the latter.
