....there's no noise about it. Second a qb gets hurt while running, out comes the cliche about running qbs.

Most of the "running" QBs didn't even get hurt while running. EJ Manuel was going out of bounds, RG3 was in the pocket, Pryor was in the pocket, and the list goes on.

That's a good read. I always wondered about the validity of the running qb getting injured more. Its brought up whenever a scrambler gets hurt, even if it's in the pocket. But noone ever questions if pocket passers are at a greater risk because they can't escape. Guess shyt don't really matter. No football analyst will ever make this observation though, and will probably argue to the contrary even with facts staring them right in the face.

It's because most of these analyst are former pocket qbs.
