I thought that was the plan when he was leaking about returning to Houston. Like I posted in the other thread, Philly probably reneged on a promise and are now gambling with chemistry
I don't even think it's that Philly reneged on the promise. I think that Harden had a deal with Houston that fell through once Ime came into the fold and Harden thought Philly would offer the same amount that Houston would and got upset when it didn't happen.
It would explain why the numbers and years never leaked to the public.
