my #1 gripe with Vlad is filming a 2 hour interview with someone and chopping it into 20 smaller videos and boiling them all down to one single tag line to get views

I think you just answered your own question. He always been in his feelings about Cube. Cube hurt alot of feelings back in the 90s.
