I don't understand how Biggie's dude was willing to take the rap for a crime he didn't commit just because he believed in Biggie's skills, thinking Big could change the world. Son, you know how many cats are hungry in the streets even though they can beat up a track?? fukk any of y'all who cosign this movie. Sentimental trash. I fukks with the soundtrack though for the most part.

You know how many dudes would take the rap for other dudes? A lot.
But not because you think some rapper who ain't even got a deal yet and basically hustlin mixtapes/freestyles on the corner will change the world. BIG was like any other cat. He could flow and had them horror core punchlines...but without Diddy's influence he wouldn't have had that pop appeal that got him all those fans and sales.

True, but not that unrealistic.

:patrice: ill give it a pass because it was diffrent back then, not just any joe blow can shyne like in todays music. you really had to have some SKILLS rhyming to make it...idk how the real story went down, but i dont think its out the realm of possibility. Plus from what i understand the dude that did the bid was there the whole time during the creating of the movie, and other people seem to co sign it

movie was kinda ass tho, i thought they protrayed biggie a little 2 soft. he seemed gutter as fukk in real life

and why the fukk was lil cease so young :what: that shyt really fukked it up for me

only thing i loved was the soundtrack

You're wrong. P diddy was the one who influenced that poppy shyt in Biggie's music (LAD). The Biggie Biopic wasn't that bad.

I mean if he was on set, I can see him embellishing a little bit :mjpls:
He prolly did the bid, then when Biggie got famous was on some "I always knew you was gone make it" shyt.

This ish more likely. He probably owed BIG for some gully ish that they couldn't show in a movie portraying BIG in a positive, family-friendly light.

that was just one of the corny things about that movie, which was representative of that whole fake tone the flick had. The whole Big speaking down from Heaven thing was corny and I felt like most of the actors were playing this shyt like a high school play. If you had it more like the Wire mixed in with some 8 mile or something then that ish would be interesting.

so the story about meeting big at sylvia's and he remained silent and didn't eat the entire time, if that really happened why not put that in the flick.... why not have biggie do his set in the middle of pac's show and keep it factual
