Dude who played Biggie was excellent in his role.

Anthony Mackie did his best with the material he had so you can't really blame him.

Suge Knight was :dead: They didn't even bother to do a halfway decent reenactment of the Source Awards speech which I would have thought would be dead easy.

Puff Daddy though. :beli: Probably the fact that I can't stand him in real life anyway, but lol @ the movie making him out to be some super inspirational angel of light when he's fukked over more talented artists than damn near anyone else.

Naturi Naughton though. :ohlawd::ohlawd::noah::noah::noah:

1st there were REAL dudes in Rap back then so someone taking a Bid isn't that far fetched. Unlike today you had dudes that rode for their people. The Director Cut is actually better than the Theatrical version. 2nd the movie was made by Hollywood so they had to sell it. The whole 2 hours could of been the East/West beef but they had to try and show all of Big's life. The whole Love Triangle aspect with Faith and Kim was true but they did make Kim look bad. The Pac element was interesting cause they showed them as friends 1st. The Quad Shooting had some ducktales in it. Also I don't agree that they made big a "Saint". How does a Saint sell drugs to a pregnant woman? That was foul and showed Big in a negative light.

They also showed he wasn't a great father. I think Gravy did an amazing job considering it was his 1st role. For those saying "It's like a TV movie", I think they were going for that, something that could played on TV for years and years to come and they were right. "Notorious" plays on MTV, VH1, Centric and BET every single year now for 5 straight years. It's always trending on Twitter when it comes on. I think the movie did it's job introducing a new generation to Big's genius. Of course all of us who lived it knows they left a lot out. My biggest beef was they didn't show other rappers during that era.

They even could of used real footage to show NaS, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang etc. The Pac element was small cause it was a movie about Biggie. Pac fans were going to hate on it no matter what cause they wanted Pac to have a huge role. Overall I give it a C+. The music and the era definitely shined through and I'm happy kids who didn't grow up on Biggie has the movie. Also the same thing is going to happen with the Tupac movie. People will complain that they left stuff out. Pac and Big are such large figures that people are going to nitpick the movies.

Also for those that don't know the movie was a huge international success. Grossing 45 Million Worldwide and another 40 Million on DVD. It only had a budget of less than 20 Million so they caked huge off this movie. The Soundtrack also sold pretty well. It was cool cause it featured 3 songs from Biggie's demo.

No..just no..the acting sucked...the pacing sucked..they left out key shyt IMPORTANT shyt about Biggie..they fukked his personality up...mad him screwface all the time..EVERYONE knew Biggie was crackin jokes 24/7 in real life..he had a huge sense of humor...made for TV is the name cause it was terribly made...shyt had continuity issues..it had time frame issues...there was literally instances in the movie where i felt like they didnt even try..it was bullshyt and it catered to the egos of the people who were involved in creating it..and as far as Pac goes..it ain't have shyt to do with wanting Pac to have a bigger role..I would've rather them not even put him in the movie if they was gonna fukk his character up so bad...the movie was a fukkin joke...soundtrack was decent tho...I give it an F+...
