Check it, y’all…
I’m the Commish of a 10-team fantasy football league. Playoffs start today (I got a first-round bye, so the following truly doesn’t affect my team personally).
Two of the teams in the league were owned by a husband and wife – my brother-in-law and his wife.
My brother-in-law’s team made the playoffs; his wife’s team didn’t.
Now suddenly, she DROPS LeSean McCoy and Calvin Johnson – who he then picks up - right in time for his first round match-up.
MIND YOU, she didn’t drop any other players except those two very specific skill position players.
NOW….as the Commish I was like “y’all can’t do that, it looks like collusion and I gotta uphold the integrity of the league because if somebody did that to Y’ALL, you’d be screaming bloody murder…” and told him to drop them both.
But wifey (who is also in the league but didn’t make the playoffs, so she’s not affected, either) is like “….but you never made that an ACTUAL rule, though.”
And I’m like “that shouldn’t HAVE to be a damn rule, that’s on some “duh-duh type shyt….they MARRIED and live in the same house AND she had no compelling interest to drop those two SPECIFIC players who, oh by the way, JUST SO HAPPENED to be picked up by her husband, who starts his playoff games today.”

"….but it wasn’t a RULE, though….”
Now ain’t she WRONG, y’all? Like seriously, did that REALLY need to be made a rule?
