Not being as good as Dave or Chris isn't a bad thing though, almost no one on planet earth is as good as they are.
It's like saying...Vince Carter isn't as good as Kobe or LeBron. As if that's an insult to Vince.
Katt doesn't have to crossover. In fact, it's clear he's done everything in his power not to crossover. Maybe he doesn't want to crossover, did that ever occur to you?
Faizon is right about Katt. After his first two specials, his other specials have been awful. His movie and TV appearances have been very good, but aside from that

I agree, it’s rare a comedian has it all. I wouldn’t go to a Katt show but any movie or tv show he’s on I’m automatically tuned in. I don’t think anyone can (nor should they) deny his talent as a comedian and actor.

Katt is a marketing genius. He has really sold people on this renegade, against the grain anti-hero act while touring non stop and having every special picked up by Netflix and being in 60 movies (not sure how true it is but he said it) . He is CM Punk or better yet Stone Cold and people are lapping it up. As a comedy fan I fukk with all of them but he has definitely earned himself (and others) some money from those that need something to be hot to mess with it. Only person I think its true beef with is Steve as by all accounts Mr Hightower is an a$$hole 
. The rest is just WWE promo shyt. He got a tour. Ceds show is coming back. Kevin got a movie coming out.

You're referring to Dave chapelle as a person, we’re talking Dave chapelle as a comedian. I doubt you know a single black person that can name a single Dave chapelle comedy special. Like I said, black people only rock with Dave because of the chapelle show.
