I lived all over North Carolina (Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, Durham) for the past six years or so, and Panthers fans aren't turning on Cam "now". Most people are behind this squad now because of this amazing success, but damn near every week you can look in the papers and find some random Letter to the Editor shytting on Cam over some nonsense. And of course this is the Bible Belt and there's so many religious freaks so somehow him having a kid out of wedlock is somewhat of a big deal here (in 2016, my god).

I don't know who or why anybody would call the Panthers Black America's team. They're just the team in the SuperBowl with the Black quarterback.
