Now that all of the hype has died down, is it fair to say GTA V was a disappointment?

I have to agree I had more fun with Louis in Ballad of Gay tony.

Visually the game was beautiful, characters interesting but, I like most people rather spend time in the city then the mountains. Online the really rocky start they had with the server made me less interested in playing as time goes on. Plus the lack of a stroy line and really fun mission online kind of killed it for me.

Good game yes. Was I disappointed yes, the expectation in my mind was set to high. Oh well new gen new gta . I home the do Vice first then work up to a 3 city game.

The campaign alone is well worth the purchase

The online part is pretty good, But got stale. The lack of heists and all the money glitching hurt It alot

Overall, This game is far from a disappointment. Anyone here who calls a game disappointing and still put over 30 hours into It is an idiot

well the problem is that ppl (myself included) binge played this game.

I'm talking 30-40 hours or more in first 4-5 days and more after that

The main story while short, was dope, I enjoyed playing it

I wonder why they put a fighter Jet in this game, there isn't even that many planes around to shoot at with its missiles, only the blimp and the Jet takes off from LS Airport, seems kinda useless

You can buy the tank on your phone after you beat the main story. Either that or steal it from the military base.

I know. I meant in the story, they didn't let you use it in any of the missions.

The game was too damn short but it was a great experience while playing it.

Online was a huge disappointment for me though. When I do play GTA V I'm either just fukking around or playing missions over again.

Good game, but i played more of TLoU (and its still better than GTA V)

in fact, the only reason i put down Last of Us was because i copped GTV5.

I keep hearing great things about TLOU. Do you know if the story takes longer to complete than GTAV? might pick this up for christmas since South Park Stick of Truth isn't dropping in Dec any more.

i beat it in a couple of days, but the story & horror aspects of the game

multiplayer is real nice too (its not fast paced like the loads of FPS titles out there and it takes some getting used to but its good)

You realize not EVERYONE plays online.

Do you get to go into the prison? or break out? I haven't gone online yet. Seems stupid though that they wouldnt put the prison in the actual story.
