Dream with no argument. You better change the argument to great euro.

Nigguh's was taking reduced roles and payroll to play with Dream. Ain't nobody taking a paycut to play with dirk.

Hell Dwight chose to train with dream in Houston then play with dirk in dallas...

Unselfish, owner willing to pay, and no state tax. Why haven't any players in their prime chose to come play with dirk:sas2:? The best player to come play with dirk in his prime willingly has been parsons :pachaha:

Parker has led France to some titles...
Manu has led Argentina to some titles and a gold medal...
And they both have multiple NBA titles...

Dirk ever led Germany to anything in international ball?

If you just look at "scoring" no doubt it is Dirk...

If you look at everything that is not "scoring"...Forget Dream and Sabonis Dirk is not even in the conversation with Parker and Manu by virtue if not winning even a third of the titles they have...

Actually...if you take into account both nba and international ball...I don't see how it's not Manu

Greatest international player ever? Dirk has an argument in terms of talent. But in terms of team accomplishments, if Tony Parker keeps winning championships, you could argue he had the "better" NBA career (if you value constant winning throughout one's career).

Some people on basketball forums say the great tragedy is that Arvydas Sabonis got injured and couldn't/didn't come to the NBA in the early 90s. Some say he would have been one of the greatest NBA centers. The old, crippled version of Sabonis was still a good player but he was a total shell of himself by the time he came here.

:ohhh:I used to hear about this all the time in the early 00's.

Dream by a country mile. I'm certain even Dirk would agree. Dream was literally a offensive and defensive juggernaught at the same damn time. Knock down shooter from nearly anywhere within 18 ft of the rim. Sueprior defender to Dirk in every aspect.

fukk out of here with this of the moment, reactionary ass thread..:camby:

It's always some dumbass trying to make grand proclamations whenever milestones like this are reached.

When it comes to international ball, Sabonis was a winner too. Here are just some of his accomplishments:

FIBA World Champion: 1982
3 Time USSR League Champion: 1985-1987
EuroBasket Champion: 1985
2 Time ACB League Champion: 1993-1994
Euroleague Champion: 1995

I'm leaving out a ton of stuff. But Sabonis also has 3 gold medals in International basketball, plus 2 silver medals and bronze medals.

Too bad he couldn't come to America earlier and rack up NBA accomplishments too.

Even with no knees, you can tell Sabonis used to be something special
