Lets be 100 here. He doesn't need to sign to any label. If I were him I'd hook up with Irv Gotti and go independent or deal with the situation Irv got with Lyor. He doesn't need a label behind him he's going to move the same amount he has a loyal fan base.

Nas is going to be in a very interesting position when he becomes a free agent. Love him or hate him he still moves more records than most guys out right now, so you better believe he will be in demand. Nas has made the right connections throughout the years, two of his go to producers are in high positions; No ID is executive-vice president of def jam and Salam Remi is executive VP of A&R at Sony. Now the question is does Nas go the independent route like some of you are saying or does he play it safe and resign with a major label.
