I know Duck Down might seem like a step down because it's not a major but I understand the feelings behind the idea. I think Nas should test the independent market with one album, maybe lost tapes 2 and see what it's like. Being independent means you have to hustle more and Nas is kind of lazy so I don't think he'll like it.

Nas had singles/ videos for Bye Baby and Cherry Wine AFTER the album released and I'm not sure, but I think he's filming/filmed a video for Loco-Motive as well. I felt Nas's promotion for Life Is Good was very well done, anticipation for the album had been building steadily since he dropped Nasty a year prior...

I honestly think his buzz damn near instantly dwindled after that Dream Hampton bullshyt..

I don't really see how, that was proven as bullshyt almost INSTANTANEOUSLY after she made the accusations. Everybody from Just Blaze, NO I.D., Stic.Man and Jay Electronica called bullshyt. The album is still acclaimed, he's still headlining tours and concerts (Radio City Music Hall in New Years is pretty big) and got the most Grammy Nominations he's ever received for one album. He made Rolling Stones list of best albums of 2012 (and Rolling Stone been shytting on Nas for damn near a decade)

Nah fam..im not sayin that it wasnt proven as bullshyt...it was...but his buzz amongst fans clearly dwindled imo...it put a stain on his album's success which is what she set out to do..before that shyt that album was getting mentioned EVERYWHERE by fans and artists alike..movie stars..comedians etc...then it just stopped...who knows tho..maybe im trippin...fukk that bytch either way tho...I hope he addresses it one of these days...

the indepdendent aspect of those deals would benifit an artist such as NAS who has a healthy touring schedule...
