Sony sells hardware and accessories to subsidize their game and entertainment development. And exclusives sell hardware.

You shouldn't have an issue with this because MS does the same thing.

Sony could never release an exclusive of any kind as of right now and would still outsell the hell out of xbox.
A lot of people are fans of the brand, the overall ecosystem, and with I imagine gamers like to have the console the majority of their friends have.
I'm not 100% sure what the xbot argument really is anymore.
Is the point that PS5 sucks because it doesn't have gamepass and that the sony exclusives aren't good enough to want to play the year they release?
