You know what it is. Capcom has turned out classic remakes for both the first and second Resident Evil games but which one was your favorite?

On one side you have the Gamecube exclusive, directed by Shinji Mikami himself and one of the best games ever made in that classic survival horror style - pre-rendered backgrounds, fixed camera and what not

and on the other hand you got the multiplatform return of Rac00n City in that iconic Resi 4 over the shoulder style and a RE engine build setting a high benchmark for this generation's horror games

I’d say the 1st one RE2 really needed two true seperate scenarios for both characters and possibly that fixed camera mode which was rumored to be for it but got scrapped in development. RE2 was good with everything else tho.

Both remakes are awesome, but I'm leaning towards 1 because I felt it delivered more on it's enhancement of it's progenitor title than 2 did, because 2 should have included the Zap/scenario B system instead of just congealing everything into one storyline. Nostalgic bias, yes, but hey.:manny: I'm glad two of my fave Resident Evils got the remakes they deserved. I hope they give Code Veronica the same treatment and not botch it like they did 3's.

Their both great remakes...but RE1 has the better remake.

Like Admiral Kizaru said, RE2 really could have used true separate scenarios. Could have had entirely new areas for those scenarios, boss fights, and unique puzzles
