I fukked with the PS3 generation way more than I did the PS4. I still play the PS3 regularly to this day.
It will be a while before I purchase the PS5 (I always wait for the slimmer pro versions) as I've still got some games to finish on the PS4, but I will give it a 4/5.

Worst gen for sports and horrible microtransactions bring this down a bit.
Sony, Nintendo, and Indy devs have been dropping heat since at least 2015. 2017 in Nintendo's case.
Microsoft has some nice joints but their biggest accomplishment is Gamepass which is phenomenal. They fall short on games and their lackluster launch was embarrassing.
Also the Battle Royale genre has some legs and while it's a big money maker I don't think it's reached it's potential creatively yet.

It was cool. I’d say a B+. I definitely enjoyed my self but I wil say the open world formula is starting to grow stale for me.
We missed that game changing experience that we usually have at least one of. (Mario 64, gta, tlou?).
